Your Questions, Answered
A few questions you may have about your destination wedding photography
Planning a destination wedding in Italy or Europe can come with a lot of questions, especially when choosing a professional to document your day. I’ve compiled a list of the most common questions from my international couples to help you find the clarity you need. If you don't see your question here, please don't hesitate to contact me!
General Questions
My studio is based in Turin, Italy, but I am a destination wedding photographer who travels extensively for my work. I have experience shooting across Italy (from Lake Como to Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast) and throughout Europe. Travel is a fundamental part of my service, and I’m always excited to explore new locations for your unique wedding.
I recommend booking as soon as you have your venue and date confirmed. My calendar fills up 12 to 18 months in advance, particularly for popular months like May, June, and September. Early booking ensures my availability for your special day.
It mainly depends on the period you have chosen. During the year there are some dates more required than others. In my experience, for dates in the months of June, July and September, I advise you to contact me about one year before. For midweek dates, you can wait a little longer. However, it is better to get in touch as soon as you set the date.
Investing in luxury wedding photography is investing in art and memory. My pricing is tailored to each couple’s unique needs, depending on the location, hours of coverage, and additional services required. For a detailed quote, please fill out my contact form and tell me more about your plans.
Not necessarily. While I love meeting couples at my studio, I understand it’s not always possible. A video call is an excellent way for us to connect, get to know each other, and discuss all the details. This personal connection is key to ensuring my photography perfectly captures your essence.
Once I have received your mail, I will check my availability for your date and send you the information brochure; then you will be able to book your date by mail or phone, making a down payment. We can also arrange a Skype call or a personal meeting in Milan or Turin.
In order to draw up a truthful cost estimate, when you get in touch with me, I would like to have as much information as possible about your story and your big day, such as: the locations of the marriage ceremony and the reception venue, if it takes place in the morning or in the afternoon, the number of guests, whether a wedding planner is involved, etc.
I do not answer to those who only enquire about the price as I am not interested in working with couples who does not want to get to know the other aspects of my work.
My shoots are divided into various personalised packages to fulfil your requirements. Once the type of photo shoot is chosen, it is possible to add a photo album. In both cases I will deliver personally the files in high definition, free of signature or logo.
Though I consider the albums to be containers of my own ideas, to grant a high quality even as far as the material employed, I have decided to entrust the printing to Graphistudio, one of the best laboratories in the world.
I invite you to get in touch with me only after having seen my work and having decided that I meet your needs. Thus you can get a precise cost estimate.
Yes, definitely. I will personally take the photos without delegating the work to third parties. If I need it, I will be accompanied by an assistant. If the spouses wish a second point of view of their wedding, they can also require the presence of a second photographer belonging to my studio.
Yes, I do. Once the ceremony is over, we can dedicate some time to family portraits. I will guide you so that the final result will be clean and elegant.
I cover without additional costs the events in Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Tuscany and Sicily. For other regions the expenses of the transfer will be met by the client.
All the places you will frequent during your wedding day have great importance. For instance/example, nobody could create high level images if the getting ready of the spouses takes place in a small, dark room or excessively messy.
An elopement package is designed for couples who desire an intimate and meaningful celebration. These packages are perfect for small, spontaneous ceremonies or private adventures, focusing on a few hours of coverage and a bespoke approach to capture your unique story.
Working time
My work extends well beyond your wedding day. I dedicate my time to meticulously curating and editing each image, applying my signature fine art style to every photograph. The post-production process takes approximately 12 weeks, after which your personal gallery will be delivered to you. If you want you can add a quick delivery option to your package and pictures will be delivered in 20 days.
Yes, I do. The photos I will deliver will be optimised professionally as far as contrast, saturation, white balance. To the eye of the observer the final result will be an extremely pleasant impact; it will be accurate and polished, just as the pictures you see on this website.
The number of photos varies depending on the package and the flow of the day, but a typical full-day wedding yields between 600 and 800 high-resolution, professionally edited images. The focus is on quality, not just quantity.
